Das tecnologias do sensível à poiesis de um corpo: a constituição de um ethos em co(rpo)nexões mediáticas

Abstract

The appropriations and uses of media have gained other socio-cultural dynamics from the 21st century on, by establishing ontological, epistemological and synesthesia changes in the patterns of experiencing reality, perceiving and projecting one's own identity. Arranged by the reconfigurations in the behaviors of problematizing the symbiosis of the human with the technologies, and the emergence of new concepts centered on the self-referentiality of the body, the present doctoral research investigates the process of constituting a media body ethos (Dominique Maingueneau). In addition, it brings up its affective relationships and communicational alterity in contemporary Western society, based on the philosophical and aesthetic principles of Japanese culture and the principles that govern the Society 5.0. These processes are named here as “Technologies of the Sensible”, because they derive from the communicational processes of coexistence and mediation between the natural and the artificial, as complex systems capable of understanding poetics and ways of increasing human sensitivity. Based on the irreversibility of the encounter between the effects of sentient technological devices and human sensitivity, it is advocated the contemporary Western media body is unveiled through the reconfiguration of the concept of the subject (Martin Heidegger), through another human vis motrix – available for the vulnerability. Beginning with the hypothesis that the “crisis of experience” (Walter Benjamin) that affects the Western contemporary subject redirects the dimensions of experience (Hans Gumbrecht), culminating in different methods of (in)tangent to the reality (Han Byung-Chul), (re)configuring the bodily mediations in the present time (Nishida Kitarō). The body connections in the performative arts carried out, arising from the audiovisual language, pursue to center the human experience and emotions in resonance with the technologies, by choosing the body as a principle of media and interactive extrapolations. In this aspect, the works are of interest to this research, in the sense of taking them as a unit of analysis. The confluence of bodies in movement and their communicational flows bring to light the poiésis of a body and its ethos in contemporary times, considering that the human being is not configured ontologically as a becoming, but as a being that is constituted in the present time.
