A formação do professor de matemática para o uso das tecnologias digitais em sala de aula em cursos superiores de tecnologia

Abstract

The research aims to study the training of teachers in applications and use of digital technologies in Mathematics, in Technological College Courses in private institutions of Curitiba -PR. To this study, a literature review and a qualitative study based on data obtained through interviews with questionnaires, administered to seven teachers who teach Mathematics in Technological College Courses from three important institutions renowned in the educational market of the town of Curitiba (PR). The overall objective of the research is to investigate the formation of mathematics teachers in higher education technology, in Curitiba higher education institutions for the use of digital technologies in the classroom. The specific research objectives are established: 1) characterize the initial and continuing training of mathematics teachers to use technology; 2) verify that the initial and continuing teacher education contributes to the use of digital technology in and out of the classroom; 3) check for use of digital technologies, such as computers, websites and software by teachers in Mathematics; 4) examine whether there was an improvement in the teacher's overall performance with the use of digital technology, whether this occurred and in what sense.
