Análise acústica e imagem da emissão de vogais em cantoras líricas e populares

Abstract

Objective: To analyze the formants of the vowels /a/ and /i/ in both the Portuguese oral singing styles: Popular and Lyric and through acoustic analysis and observe the 16 vocal tract in producing these vowels by image, so you can see and reflect on whether there and what are the differences of vowels sung in the style of popular singers and lyric singing. Method: We selected 30 female subjects, 10 singers lyric, popular singers 10 and 10 speakers. Groups of singers passed through voice recording, each in his style of singing, producing the open vowels of Brazilian Portuguese /a/ and /i/. The three groups were submitted to the study of vocal register by acoustic analysis of speech and dynamic imaging, using videofluoroscopy, with a record of your pictures during broadcasts requested. Results: We observed significant differences between the styles of lyric singing and popular singing position in relation to the larynx, pharynx area, position and excursion of the soft palate and tongue. It was also possible to observe the closeness of the popular singing with speech and how popular the song remains insulated from the other groups in jaw opening. Conclusion: As can be seen to be significant differences, mainly in the supra-glottal vocal tract between lyric singing and singing popular and also the proximity of the popular singing with speech, so it is argued once again that a singing school popular with the scientific basis of your workouts should be studied and established. These findings would not be possible if the videofluoroscopy, was not an ally, used for observation of the structures of the vocal tract during singing.
