Escala de alienação parental: questões orientadoras para avaliadores

Abstract

Parental Alienation Scale - EAP - is an instrument in the validation process. After analyzing the psychometric properties (Bedin, 2014) the final instrument features four categories (prevent / hinder; defame / tarnish; parent behavior in the interview and the child's behavior in the interview or visits). Its proper fulfillment depends on the data / information collected from fully interviews. This research consists of the formulation of a list of questions to support the evaluator for data collection and proper filling of the EAP. From the reformulation was added screening with 21 questions and the full script was reduced to 45 questions, divided into the same categories of EAP, adding the divorce context. The participants were four forensic technicians: psychologists and social workers. We used two instruments: the EAP and the semi-structured interview. Were interviewed three families in a lawsuit guard dispute, claim parental alienation in two phases: first, the participant did the interview and answered EAP without the reference of guiding questions. In the second phase, the participant did the interviews again using the script guiding questions. The researcher classified the guiding questions and answers in the two phases, using the following criteria: fully collected the data (information) on the issue; collected partially or incompletely; collected confusingly; did not collect the data related to the issue. Data were compared in two stages, both for interviews and for EAP. The final results showed that the use of script guiding questions increased the collection of complete data concerning the EAP and decreases the time spent in the interview.
