Expandindo o universo de Charlie Kaufman: escrita de um roteiro

Abstract

When writing scripts that, in addition to revealing elements of fantasy and surrealism, address issues of philosophy and psychology, Charlie Kaufman achieved great prominence for his creativity and originality. The general objective of this dissertation is the analysis of the three films that make up its corpus: Being John Malkovich, Adaptation and Eternal sunshine of a spotless mind, through dialectical methodology, to verify what can dialogue with a new screenplay. Inspired by Kaufman's originality, I proposed to write a script mixing the three films through dialogism and intertextuality, also using the concepts of rhizome, remix and mashup. I end the dissertation with a memo. First, I discuss the relationship between Charlie Kaufman's speeches and the characters he created. Then I explain the construction of the scenes of the new script based on the afore mentioned concepts from the perspective of authors such as Mikhail Bakhtin, Julia Kristeva, Gilles Deleuze, Felix Guattari and Eduardo Navas.
