Dificuldades no processo de reinserção familiar de crianças e adolescentes vítimas de abuso e maus tratos acolhidos em instituição na região metropolitana de Curitiba

Abstract

The objective of this research was to descrive the difficulties in the process of family reintegration of children and adolescents victims of abuse and mistreatment hosted in an institution in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba. A data collection of medical records about the retirements of the year 2014 was carried out and semi-structured interviews were carried out with 07 professionals from the institution (a psychologist, two social workers, a pedagogue, a manager and two attendants). The interviews were recorded, transcribed and content analysis was performed. The results of the interviews pointed out as difficulties of family reintegration the lack of response of the family to the professional intervention, the inefficiency of the protection network and the omission of the Public Power. The analysis of medical records indicated that 27 were dismissed, with six adoptions (three national and three international); 13 successful reinsertions and 08 unsuccessful reinsertions with institutional collection (29.7%). It is essential to integrate the institution, the safety net, the support network with the participation of the community, especially the families of the children and adolescents taken care of and taken off. This broad web of relationships with articulated work tends to become a force for public municipal authorities to implement and implement public policies consistent with the needs of the population. In this context, Community Social Psychology, based on its theoretical framework, configures a field of knowledge that can contribute to this process, favoring the reintegration with effective family and community coexistence, making possible the reduction of institutional receptions and responses.
